Ellee draws from different schools of yoga to create her classes. Though her classes incorporate the fundamental balancing elements of a Hatha Yoga class, Ellee also integrates aspects of Kundalini and Iyengar Yoga. She focuses on core strength, positive attitude, flexibility on many levels, mindfulness, inversions, and breathwork - and tries to include a sense of humor. When appropriate, Ellee utilizes partnering exercises to explore asana and sometimes includes partnering rooted in the knowledge of massage therapy. Classes are multi-level. While giving students the option to meet their edge, Ellee values creating a class environment where modifications and awareness of limitations are embraced.

Yoga Training: Hatha and Kundalini Yoga with Diane Wilson in Portland, OR. Iyengar influenced Vinyasa Yoga with OM Yoga Studio in New York City.

Meditation Training: Kriya, Vipassana, and Shambhala Buddhist meditation.

Certifications: Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification, Graduation from East West College of Massage, Wilderness First Responder, United Bicycle Institute's Introduction to Bicycle Maintenance, Trek Fit System Level 1 training, PADI certified scuba diver.

Ellee has been a yoga instructor since 2001. She has taught at traditional studios, in the wilderness, for women's shelters, in a bike shop, and at a local college.
